UPDATE ON ELECTION: Governor Mohammad Umaru Jibirilla Congratulate Ahmadu Fintiri over his victory.

Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla has congratulated the  Governor  Elect  RT.Honourable.  Ahmadu  Umaru  Fintiri  over his election as the incoming  Governor of Adamawa State as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC. 

The Governor stated this during  a state wide Broadcast to the people of Adamawa State over the  recent successful Governorship  election in the state. 

Governor Muhammad Jibrilla  said that  he remain grateful to the Almighty for giving him the opportunity to serve the people of Adamawa State, pointing out that his  action as a  Governor in the last  Four Years were with the  best intentions and appreciated the  entire Adamawa  citizens for the  mandate given to him to serve and wishes the state and peaceful  transition and Progress in the year ahead.

The Governor also  stressed that as a Democrat, he cherished Democratic norms and values as it practiced in the civilised world.
