NEWS:ADC Adamawa Lauds Gov Fintiri on Unity, Recent Security Architecture of the State.

The Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State has honoured the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for embarking on policies that will unite the people of the state.

A delegation of the ADC’s officials and supporters across the 21 Local Government led by its Gubernatorial Candidate in the 2019 General Election, Sen. Abdullazeez Nyako said they were at the Government House to identify with the Governor for the hand of fellowship he extended to the party stakeholders.

Sen. Nyako also applauded Governor Fintiri for the new security architecture put in place in the State which he said is part of ADC’s manifesto which include also fighting Boko Haram, bring to an end farmers/herders clashes, bring to an end the activities of kidnappers and Shilla Boys in the State.

He thanked Governor Fintiri when he was the Speaker of Adamawa State House of Assembly for been behind the success of the projects initiated by former Governor Murtala Nyako and called on Governor Fintiri to revive some of the empowerment programmes initiated by Nyako’s administration which were meant for developing the State.

The former Senator assured the PDP Government in Adamawa State ADC’s full support to developed the State and take it to the next level of development.

While responding to the delegation of ADC, Governor Fintiri has reiterated that his appointment will be based on merit so that the State will develop.

The ATM Governor has said that his administration has started experimenting with 9 boarding schools the feeding programme in the State. Adding that by September 2019 when schools will resume for new session, the full feeding programme will be across the 52 boarding schools in the State.

Reiterating on the new security architecture put in place for the State, the Fresh Air Governor has said that so far 68 kidnappers and 252 Shilla Boys have been arrested in their various hideout within the State.

Governor Fintiri therefore call on the law abiding citizens of Adamawa  not to engage in any criminal activities for those who are perpetrating or harbouring criminal in the state will be dealt with according to the established law of the land.

Soon, the Governor concluded programmes that are meat for empowering the people of the State will be brought to life line.
