SPECIAL REPORT: Governor's Wife Celebrates Sallah at Orphanage.

The Wife of  the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu  Umaru Fintiri,  has celebrated this year’s Sallah at orphanage. The Governor’s wife wined and dined with the children living there in order to give them a sense of belonging.

She  presented gift items such as; Toys and Toiletries to the children as their sallah gifts.

Earlier on, few days before Sallah day, she paid a visit to the orphanage where she found out that some of the children have fallen sick, while others suffered from malnutrition. As a loving and caring mother, she ordered for their medical support, provided food items and clothings to them.

While appreciating the gesture, Matron of the orphanage, Haj. Rabi, applauded Hajiya
Lami  for the kind gesture and promised to utilise the items given to them judiciously.

The children on the other hand couldn’t hide their outmost feelings as they were overjoyed over the gifts. They thanked Her Excellency for demonstrating her motherly concern.
