NEWS UPDATE:INEC RELEASES TIME TABLE FOR PARTY PRIMARIES, LGAs ELECTION IN ADAMAWA.

The Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission has released time table for the election in 21 Local Government Areas of the State.

In a press statement signed by the Executive Chairman, Adamawa Independent Electoral Commission, Isa Shetima and made available to Journalists in the State said the election will hold in November 2019, but the exact date will later be announced.
The statement reads in part:

“... is hereby notified for general information that Elections will be held throughout the 21 Local Governments in Adamawa State in November 2019.
“The exact date will be notified in due course.

“Registered Political Parties wishing to field candidates are hereby directed to embark on electioneering campaigns from 10th July, 2019.

“Similarly, Primary Elections are to be conducted from 31st August to 7th September, 2019 and names of the successful aspirants are to be submitted to this Commission on or before 10th October, 2019 for further necessary action”.
