The Federal Capital Territory Water Board has advised that water supply to some parts of the Territory will be disrupted to enable officials of the FCT Water Board and the CGC Company handling the extension work on Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway, by Apo, to connect water from the existing line to the newly laid pipeline.
In view of this development, residents of Apo, Durumi, Galadimawa, Gudu and its environs will experience disruptions in water supply from the 14th to the 16th of August, 2019. Normal water supply will be restored to these areas on the 19th of August, after the connection works.
Consequently, residents of the affected areas are advised to store enough water that will last through the period of disruptions in water supply.
The Board also expressed its apologies to residents of the affected areas for any inconveniences that may be experienced as a result of the disruptions.
