One week after the demise of late Alh. Umaru Badami, the father of the Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP caucuses at the Federal Legislature have paid him a condolence visit.
The delegation of the PDP caucuses were received by the Governor at the Presidential Lodge of the Government House Yola.
The Minority Leader in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndubi Elumelu who led the delegation, said they were at the Government House to commiserate with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the people of the State over the death of his father, late Alh. Badami.
Hon. Elumelu explained that late Alh. Badami left behind legacies that are worthy to emulate. Noting that he left behind Governor Fintiri, the man that will bring development to the State; stressing that the pedigree of the Governor speaks much of his father.
The Minority Leader comforted Governor Fintiri and the people of Adamawa State and pray for the repose of decease to have eternal rest.
Responding, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri thanked the House of Representatives PDP caucuses for the visit and the prayers they offered to the repose of his late father and pray to God to give them journey mercy to Abuja.
The Members of House of Representatives were accompanied by all the Adamawa State PDP House of Representative members.
Highlight of the visit was prayers to the repose of late Alh. Umaru Badami.
