The Northeast Development Commissions (NCDC) has donated food items to Internally Displace Persons (IDPs) in Adamawa to caution their hardships.


Presenting the items at the Deputy Governors Office ,the senior Technical Assistant to the MD, Mallam Ahmadu Waziri said the donation will go along way in alleviating their suffering.


Mallam Waziri also reiterated that the donation is to fulfilled the promises Earlier made by the Commission . Waziri expressed the commissions readiness to always Come to the aid of the state where necessary.

While responding, the Deputy Govenor of the State. Cheif Crowther Seth who received the items onbehalf of the state governmet thanked NEDC for their prompt response to the plight of IDPs in the state saying it will go a long way in cautioning their hardship.


He noted that the state is faced with series of challenges ranging from flooding, farmer herder clashes among others called for more support from the NEDC to the state. He assured of immediate distribution of the items to the beneficiaries.


 Representatives of the insurgents who are taking refuge at the two major IDPs Camps in the State  Mallam Bakura Umar and Fatima Hassan appreciated the kind gestures giving to them.
