An Acting Chairman has been sworn in for Numan Local Government Transition Council today, he is Hon. Ngari Fredinand.
Hon. Ferdinand Ngari was formerly the Vice Chairman of the Transition Committee of the Council. He took his oath of office and allegiance as Acting Chairman of his Council which was administered by the Solicitor General of the State, Barr Dahiru Mustapha Raji at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Governor's office and was presided over by the Deputy Governor, Chief Crowther Seth.
Chief Seth charged the new Acting Chairman to discharge his duties diligently and to also carry everyone along taking cognisance of the precedence that led to his emergence.
Responding, the new Acting Chairman Hon. Ngari pledged his support and loyalty to the Fintiri led administration promising to work with all the Councillors in a true democratic sense of team work.
The ceremony had in attendance the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, the Deputy Speaker Adamawa state House of Assembly Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo, The Secretary to the State Government Engr. Bashir Ahmad, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Barrister A K Jingi, some members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly and other top Government functionaries.
