Governor
Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the appointment of Prof. Kaletapwa
Farauta as the substantive Vice Chancellor of Adamawa State University
Mubi.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou reads in part:
“His
Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the appointment
of Professor Kaletapwa Farauta as the substantive Vice Chancellor of the
Adamawa State University Mubi.
“Professor Farauta who until
now was the acting Vice Chancellor contested alongside twenty-five
others, out of which three top contenders emerged.
“Professor
Kaletapwa brings to the job a wealth of experience of many years of
teaching and education management having served as Commissioner of
Education and Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board.
“His
Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri therefore congratulates the
new Vice Chancellor urging her to run with His vision to make the State
University one of the best in the Country”.
