The Founder and Chairman of the Non-Governmental Organization, YOHANS Adult Education,Yohanna Manje , in collaboration with the Adamawa State Mass Education Board has awarded His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Crowther Seth a Merit Award.
While presenting the award, he urged him to maintain the good work he has started as regards to Adult education.
The two bodies recognized the efforts the Deputy Governor in ensuring the survival of literacy education in Adamawa.
Yohanna Manje said Chief Crowther was among the nominees of the 2020 Merit Award in recognition of his contributions in reviving mass education in the state which was hitherto neglected.
He stressed that in view of the importance attached to adult education and the entire educational sector by the Fintiri's led government, the Deputy Governor on assumption of office took it upon himself to ensure mass education is brought back to life
Responding, Chief Crowther Seth appreciated the bodies for the recognition. He assured them that his doors are always open for support if need be. He maintained that sustaining adult education is paramount as it will go along way in reducing illitracy level in the society.
