ADAMAWA STATE GOVERNMENT HAS SHOWED READINESS TO FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY AND JOBLESSNESS.

Adamawa state deputy governor Chief Crowther  Seth gave kudos to the chairman Mubi North local government Suleiman Yahya Sudi for empowering his people which is in line with the government policies and programmes.

He gave the commendation while presenting the empowerment items to the beneficiaries in Mubi.

Items distributed include; 18 Car, 5 tricycles and 5 motorcycle.

The deputy Governor Chief Crowther Seth congratulated the chairman Suleiman Yahaya Sudi for such a land mark achievement which he said will reduce unemployment and poverty.

He maintained that the state government under the leadership of the people's governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri remains at the forefront of the fight against poverty and joblessness, hence the vision of the Chairman to join the fight aimed at uplifting the living standard of his people championed by Fintiri's led administration.

While the cause for rebranding Adamawa continues through people oriented programs of the fresh air government, Chief Crowther believes that such empowerment initiative can restore citizens hope in governance.

The deputy Governor equally used the event to congratulate the newly decamped members into PDP, saying their conviction to dump their different political platforms for the ruling PDP in Adamawa was based on the transparency and all inclusive governance of Governor Fintiri.

 

Earlier, the state party chairman Barrister Abubakar Tahir Shehu while receiving the decampees assured  that PDP is the formidable political party to recon with.

He thereafter, maintained that Mubi North local government chairman Suleiman Yahaya Sudi and the entire people of the area have made history. 

On his part, the chairman Suleiman Yahaya Sudi said the successes recorded under his leadership in Mubi North is the end product of the support he enjoy from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The deputy Governor Chief Crowther Seth had earlier paid a homage on the emir of Mubi Abubakar Isa Ahmadu.

The emir wished the present government well in piloting the affairs of the state.

In the same vein, Chief Crowther Seth has witnessed the commissioning of Mubi North local government PDP Secretariat by the state party Chairman Abubakar Tahir Shehu.

The party chairman tasked the local government executives to utilize the edifice for the growth and development of PDP.

The state PDP chairman Abubakar Tahir Shehu who commissioned the Secretariat said it will ease the running of the party activities in Mubi North.

The state PDP chairman Tahir Shehu also advocated the need for the party at local government and ward levels to work towards providing dividends of democracy to the people.

He added that the Secretariat is beneficial not only to the party, but the entire people of Mubi North, hence the need for them to work in harmony for the growth and development of PDP.
