The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information and Strategy, Comrade Umar Garba Pella has  challenged  staff of the Ministry to  work assiduously for the progress and Development of the  Ministry. 

The  Commissioner stated this during the 2021  Merit Award  for the Best  Staff of the Ministry today.

While congratulating the  Awardee, the Honourable Commissioner  also  called on other staff to re dedicate themselves for effective service delivery  and urged staff  to  take their responsibility  seriously  and be productive  as Government  is being committed  to the plight  and welfare of the state  workforce. 

In his remarks, the  Permanent Secretary of the Ministry,  Barrister  Isuwa Kakbiya Misali  has commended the Merit Award  Committee  for the excellent  and well deserved  selection. 

He commended  the entire  staff of the Ministry for their total  support and cooperation  towards Selfless Service  and dedication to  humanity. 

Earlier, the  Chairman of the  Merit  Award  committee Mrs.  Behley  explained that the  merit  award to the deserving  staff aimed at encouraging them in order to  put more efforts in serving the  Government and humanity. 

She also explained that the  selection of the  awardee was purely  based  on merit  without any sentiment  and urged other staff to re -dedicate  themselves and to emulate the  Awardee. 

While responding,  the  recipient  and Best  Performing  Staff  of the Ministry  for the First  Quarter of the  year  2021,  Mrs. Catherine  Philip Jelani  appreciated the  Award  and thanked  both the staff and management of the  Ministry  for their  encouragement  being extended to  her during the cause of  her official duties.
