He gave the word of encouragement at the Twenty Fifth anniversary of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, LCCN Chapel of Grace Alheri, lower luggere Jimeta.


Speaking through his Deputy Chief Crowther Seth at theTwenty Five   anniversary of Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria LCCN Chapel of Grace  Alheri  with theme "Grace for the Race ", Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri congratulated the church on their twenty five years journey which according to him is full of God's favour and grace.


He acknowledged that any successful story comes with challenges, commending the leadership of the church and members for their resilience, courage and determination at ensuring the progress of the church and gospel of Christ.

The Governor also advised the congregation to shun gossiping among other sinful acts, rather re-dedicate themselves to the service of God, thereby serving him in truth and spirit.


He said that, the day calls for celebration as the church has moved from strength to strength, Governor Fintiri wished them more fruitful years as they work in the vineyard of God.


He thereafter, urged the younger generation to always stick to the words to the advices of their  parents for better tomorrow.

Taking his scriptural reading  from second Corinthians chapter twelve verses one to Ten, the preacher Right Reverend Irmiya Taduggoronno admonished the faithful to return all glory, honour and adoration to God for his love, guidance, mercy and protection thus far, emphasizing that his grace is sufficient upon his people and the church.


He encouraged the congregation to live righteously, noting that the celebration of Twenty  Fifth years of God's grace marks the beginning of better things to come.


The silver Jubilee celebration featured the cutting of the anniversary cake, songs of praise.
