Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has paid his last respect to late Mama Saratu Mbusikambiu Amos Sunday, Mother to Adamawa State Head of Service, Dr. Edgar Amos.

He urged the bereaved family to take solace in God.

It was in tears, pains and agony as the remains of late Mama Saratu Mbusikambiu Amos Sunday was laid to rest in her home town Dumne, Song Local Government Area of Adamawa state.
At the funeral service held at the LCCN Church, Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri represented by his Deputy, Chief Crowther Seth tasked the living to mend their ways, for death is inevitable.

He said the departed has lived a life worthy of emulation, noting that her legacies will forever be cherished.

Governor Fintiri described the deceased as a family pillar and a committed Christian who drives pleasure in promoting good moral values in her community, emphasizing that her company and contributions will be greatly missed.

The number one citizen further drew the attention of the living on the need to uphold the spirit of love and forgiveness while still alive.

Reverend John Andrew in a sermon reminded the faithful that there is time to be born and the time to die, hence the need for the living to come closer to God while everybody awaits his own time.

Aged 78, the body of late mama Saratu was buried in the family residence.

She is survived by ten children prominent among is the Adamawa state head of service Dr. Edgar Amos, 29 grand children and two great grand children.
