The Twenty day training of  Religious and Community Leaders on Christianity and the prevention of violence Against Women and Girls  ended with a call for all to appreciate the beauty in women. Rev FR George Ehusani made the call while addressing the participants during the graduation ceremony  at villa nova estate Apo Dutse Abuja.

In his address, the Executive Director Lux Terra Foundation, Rev Dr George Ehusani described the training as a useful tool for step down for the prevention of violence Against Women and Girls.

He said violence is a serious issue which need to be addressed and that the trained religious and Community Leaders are well equip to pass the massage.

Rev Ehusani reiterated the need to celebrate the beauty of the famine gender so that no one harms the beauty in women which Lux Terra and DIWA is always ready to help fight for the course of Women and Girls.

In their separate remarks the Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Paulen Talen, Chief Executive Officer, of DIWA Mr Daoda Kanneh,UNFPA  Nigeria Deputy Representative, Dr Erika Goldson lauded the need to fight the act of violence considering it's implications. They applaud the efforts of Fr George for training leaders to fight the menance of all forms of violence urging him to maintain the tempo.

Earlier,in her welcome remarks, Prof. Taiwo Abioye applauded the zeal and commitment participants showed  during the training, she called on them to work with NGOs to prevent violence looking at the dangers attached to violence.

In a feedback from Adamawa and Sokoto States, Mr Stephen Adeyele and Mr Edison Edayi thanked the staff and management of Lux Terra and DIWA for organizing such training he promise to step down the knowledge acquired and sensitize their communities , States and the Nation at large.
