NEWS: Information and Strategy Ministry to Partner Deaf and Dump Association.

The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information and Strategy Comrade Umar Garba Pella has  assured  Members of the Deaf and Dump  Association  in the State  that the Ministry will partner with the  Association at all times. 

The Commissioner gave the assurance while granting  in audience the  leadership of the  Association  led by  Mallam  Liman Adamu Nuhu in his office yesterday. 

According to the Information Commissioner, Deaf and  Dump  arduous specially  people in the  society and called on them to  always  support  Government  Policies and Programmes  for the overall development of the State. 

He maintained that the  developmental strides  of Governor  Fintiri  can only be  achieve  through the support of the  people of Adamawa State. 

Earlier, the leader of the  Deaf and  Dump in Adamawa State,  Mallam  Liman  Adamu  Nuhu  had told the  Honourable Commissioner  that the  Association  have  about 30,000 Members  in which some of  them were  graduates in various  field  of Education. 

 He appealed to the  Honourable Commissioner  to employ  interpreters  in Television  Stations in order for the  Deaf and  Dump  to understand  and participation fully  in any Government  Programmes so as to contribute their own quota towards the development of Adamawa State. 

He also  assured that the  Association  will continue to support  Government at all times  adding that the annual  general meeting and Deaf  week programme will  come up on the  29th of July, 2021.
