The State Hon. Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Aloysius BabaDoke gave the advice at the Matriculation Ceremony of the Federal Polytechnic Mubi on August 22, 2021 in Mubi. He said " Entrepreneurship helps in developing communication and sales skills, that are key components of business today".

As the guest of honour, Hon. BabaDoke revealed that a recent survey in the country shows that a lot of graduates have no jobs adding that they should also concentrate on acquiring skills in order to become self reliant and better people in life.

Dr. Abdulrahman Ishiaka, the AG Rector of the institution in his remark has urged the students to take their studies seriously and to ensure that they adhere to all covid-19 non-pharmarceutical protocols as in key to ensuring a healthy learning environment. He had also advised the students to shun violence and refrain from acts that are capable of disrupting the peace and progress of the institution.

Similarly, Dr Kacha Ta'awu, the director Department of Entrepreneurship Programs of the institution said that his department has been able to generate revenue for the school through its poultry unit, Agro-processing unit, meat unit as well as business committee and the ICT units.
The institution has matriculated 500 students into various faculties and departments of the institution.
