NEWS NAHCON Directed all States Pilgrims Welfare Commissions and Boards to Refund deposits made by intending Pilgrims.

Following the cancellation of 2020 and 2021 Hajj by the  Saudi Arabia Government for the international Pilgrims, due to the surge on Covid 19 pandemic, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has directed all States Pilgrims Welfare Commissions and Boards to refund deposits made by intending Pilgrims for two 2 years. 

Sequel to the directives, the Executive Secretary of the Commission Mallam Salihu Abubakar with the approval of the Executive Governor of the state,his Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has begun the process of the refund.

In light of the above,Mallam Salihu Abubakar called on the Hajj intending Pilgrims that wish to collect their refund to apply to the Commission through their schedule officers,stating the amount they wish to collect, attach evidence of their payment receipts and a photocopy of their e passport data page.

Intending Pilgrims that wish to leave their money with the Commission can also do so and roll over to next year's Hajj.
