Fintiri Restates Commitment To Making Adamawa Safe For All Nigerians Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri while delivering his independence address at the Ribadu square Yola restated his commitment to making Adamawa safe for all Nigerians, irrespective of places of birth, religion and political persuasion. The Governor shortly after inspecting the parade and receiving salute said two years in the office of his administration were marked by triumphs and tribulations, benefits and burdens, opportunities and challenges though it made some far-reaching advances in building a strong, united and prosperous Adamawa State. Earlier Commissioner of information and strategy Dr Umar Garba Pella State Director National Orientation Agency Salisu Yakubu noted the challenges faced by the country thankful however that it still stands strong, stating that as a state Adamawa is poised towards ensuring lasting peace, unity and development of the Nation Political, security, religious, community, traditional leaders and people from across the state both the young and old thronged to commemorate the day.
