Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has admonished christians to remain resolute in Christ and shun any tendencies of disunity. The Governor was speaking at the 28th Annual Convention of Christian Association of Nigeria Women Wing, Adamawa State chapter, held at LCCN No.1 Fufore Local Government Area.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri represented by his Deputy Chief Crowther Seth congratulated the State Women Wing of CAN on it 28th convention titled "Be still and know that I am God".
He acknowledged their support and contributions to the present government, urging them not to be discouraged by current challenges for it is the fulfilment of the scriptures, instead serve God in Truth and spirit.
The Governor challenged Christian women to unite and shun religious, tribal or any form of sentiments, assuring that their efforts in propagating the gospel would not be in vein.
Governor Fintiri further used the gathering to drew their attention on the need for fervent prayers, for lasting peace, unity, harmony, growth and development in Adamawa, Nigeria and the world at large.
