The Adamawa State Governor, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the reconstitution of the Board of the College for Legal Studies (CLS), Yola, an affiliate of the University of Maiduguri.
This was disclosed, Thursday in a press statement signed by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's Press Secretary, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou.
According to Mr Wonosikou, the CLS Board now has Barr. Hassan Maidawa as Chairman, while Dr Abubakar Bello, Sebastine Jiddere, Arabo Umar Farouk and Barr. Babangida Hassan Bakori representing Private Legal Practitioners are to serve as members.
The statement further said that all Ex-Officio Members drawn from Government Ministries and Parastatals are not affected by this new development.
The Press Secretary said, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri while congratulating the new Board members urged them to join hands with those already there and use their wealth of experience to help the College achieve the desired objectives of the Governments new thinking.
