The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Agriculture Hon. Umar Iya Daware has commended the efforts of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on community relations Comrade, Humphray Umajika and other Igbo groups in Adamawa State for giving their support for the re-election of His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the forthcoming general election in 2023.

The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Agriculture Hon. Umar Iya Daware has commended the efforts of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on community relations Comrade, Humphray Umajika and other Igbo groups in Adamawa State for giving their support for the re-election of His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the forthcoming general election in 2023.
The Commissioner disclosed this when the group paid him a courtesy visit in his office recently, explained that the re-election of the Governor is based on the good governance and oriented people's projects being exexecuted by the Governor across the Twenty One Local Government Areas of Adamawa State.
He explained that the Governor ran an inclusive government which unified all Tribes within and outside the state, assuring the Igbo group that his doors are always open whenever the need arises.

Earlier, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter -Community relations Comrade, Humphray Umajika and one Igbo woman as Senior Special Assistant on women mobilisation expressed delight to His Excellency RT. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for fulfilling his magnanimous promised by appointing two Igbos as senior special assistants on inter community relations and one woman as senior special assistant on women mobilisation.
The group also commended the state Ministry of Agriculture for its developmental strides in agricultural sector which includes partnership with relevant bodies such as National Bio -Technology Development Agency ( NBDA) ,Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ( FMARD ) to train both young graduates and local farmers on Agro Business, Quality control, pest management, Livestock development, Grazing and Food security and to improve agricultural practices and Productivity especially in relation to growing population.
