NEWS: Gov. Fintiri Assures Welfare in Adamawa to Cushion Subsidy Removal.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has assured that his administration will take care of workers welfare and the citizenry to cushion the suffering of the subsidy removal. The Governor also charged the citizenry to support the policy of the Federal Government saying that the hardship the they are passing through will not last long.
 

The Governor disclosed this, Thursday while receiving Pene da Bwatiye, a sociocultural association of the Bwatiye people on a congratulatory to the Governor at the Banquet Hall Government House Yola.
 

He thanked the Bwatiye people for their support and prayer during the last general polls.
 

Governor Fintiri assured that his Government will ensure it always make appointments fairly and equitable to accommodate the diverse nature of the state. Stressing that he will sustain it till the state reach its best position.
 

While stating his administration's developmental stride in the last four uears and that the last four years of his tenure will be better, Governor Fintiri revealed that in weeks or month to come  he will appoint members of his cabinet to set the ball running for more development in the state.
He called on the Peoples Democratic Party stake holders in the 21 LGAs of the state to adhere to the directives he gave of selecting those who work for the success of the party at the polls to be appointees in his administration. He explained that only faithful party members he will appoint from the 15 to 20 persons selected from each LGA to form his cabinet while warning any form of manipulation in the selection of the people that is not for the interest of the people of the community or the state will not be tolerated.
 

Governor Fintiri disclosed that he has restructured the security architecture of the state to fight all forms of criminalities.
"We will be taken our fight to them {criminals} not allowing them to fight us" Governor Fintiri said.
 

"In the last one week we have started with massive clearance of the criminals. If you see the massive movement of the military, the police and other security perssonel in your area, don't be panic, they are after criminals"
 

He called on the people of Pene da Bwatiye to support the Hama Bachama and Hama Batta so that his administration will succeed in its fight against insecurity in the entire state.
 

While highlighting the successes recorded by his administration in education and health sectors, Governor Fintiri disclosed that his administration has attracted 74million dollars to take care of the girl child education.
 

Earlier speaking, the acting President Pene da Bwatiye World Wide, Mr. Iliya James said they were at Government House Yola to congratulate Governor Fintiri for his victory at the poll.
 

He said that Governor Fintiri's humility and good governance in the state gave him overwhelming victory in the staye despite the unnecessary abnormalities in the last gubernatorial poll.

He described the choice of Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta as the best decision based on her track records while assuring that the Pene da Bwatiye will be working in tandom with the governor's peaceful coexistance policy so that peace will reign across the state.

On his part, the representative of Bwatiye First Class Chiefs, Hon. Joel Madaki has lauded Governor Fintiri's security policy which he said people can now sleep with their eyes close in all part of the state.

He thanked the Governor for reappointing their sons to form his cabinet.
