Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has warned people overheating the polity in the state after the general election to desist from doing it on any platform.
Governor Fintiri made the warning while receiving people of Yola South who came to thank the governor for appointing their sons in his government.
 

The Governor who lamented on the activities of the instigators on social media said there is law in the land which guide the conduct of everyone. He said the election is over and there is government recognized by the constitution in the State, which any action to disregard the government will amount to treason. Adding that he will charge them for the offence in a court of competent jurisdiction.
 

Governor Fintiri advised stakeholders to call those who are heating the polity to order to in order to avoid the wrath of the law. He charged Yola South people to embrace one another and live in peace.
 

The Governor has assured that his government will initiate and execute more projects in Yola South. Saying Yola South water project will be prioritize by his government to provide the citizenry portable drinking water.
 

He enjoined people of Yola South to preserve their forest from destruction. According to the Governor, his administration will spend on planting of trees to preserve the forest and combat deforestation.
 

Governor Fintiri disclosed that his administration has already designed its policy which will soon start to be implemented.
 

Leader of the delegation, Chairman Yola South LGA, Hon. Hamidu Mohammed said they were in Government House Yola to thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for appointing their sons as SSG, Barr. Awwal Tukur and Auditor General of the State Alh Usman Ahmed.
 

While thanking the Governor for the projects his government implemented in Yola South, the Chairman assured the Governor of their unflinching support all the time.
 


He commended the Governor for initiating water project in Yola South which he said when completed it will end the years of water scarcity in the ancient city.
