NEWS:New PS Ministry of Information and Strategy Meets with Staff.

The new Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr. Solomon Kumangar met with his Staff this morning at the ministry's conference hall. He referred to the meeting as; ' family meeting'.

The PS in his address said his coming to the Ministry was a deliberate choice to revolutionize the information strategy of the State. "Fortunately we have a plan for a strategic information management on ground. We intend to work with that." He commended the efforts of the Information Officers saying that it's not an easy job. He encouraged them  to work and improve  ourselves especially at the various organizations that they are posted to.

We'll need Information Officers as key officers that would be used for the implementation of the mandates of the Ministry. He urged all to endeavor to have a feedback mechanism from their place of posting. "I know the frictions experienced by Information Officer as I was one" he said.
He Promised that he would do all he could to make enabling working environment for information officers,  adding that all should be persistent in discharging their duties.

"We are here to take suggestions, challenges and corrections".
Highlights of the meeting include suggestions, corrections, and solutions to issues that concerns the Ministry.
