NEWS:Pressure Groups Vows to Support Fintiri Administration.

No fewer than fourteen (14) pressure groups have vowed to support policies and programs  of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri led administration to better the lives of its citizens through the provision of  dividends of democracy.


The groups made the pledge while on a congratulatory visit to the Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta.

The dfferent pressure groups received by the Professor Kaletapwa Farauta include: the Wives of the Hon. Members State House of Assembly, Girls brigade Nigeria Committee Northern Zone, Karewa Women Association, Youth CAN Southern Zone, Professor Kaletapwa Ambassador network and Christian United for Israel  who were in her office to register their solidarity for her and Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Others are; DABGHI Women Association Michika Yola branch, Members of the Great Commission Movement, State PDP Women, School Base Management Committee FGGC Yola, Jamiyar Matan Arewa, Farauta Women's Group from the Twenty One Local Governments and Deaf Association Adamawa State chapter.

While addressing them, she appreciated the visitors for finding time to congratulate her and the entire government.

Professor Farauta explained that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri administration is bend at ensuring no stone is left unturned in terms of executing programs that has direct bearing on the masses, being a leader that always have his people at heart.

The number two citizen of Adamawa stressed that the present administration will always consider gender equity and equality in discharging its duties.

She said no government can succeed without women and Youth who are the backbone of every society, revealing that government cannot relent in rolling out more empowerment programs for them.

She tasked the visitors to always commit themselves in anything capable of bringing peace, unity and development of the state, advocating for prayers on leaders, adding that Governor Fintiri led government remain resolute to ensure total transformation of Adamawa to be at per with her sister states.

The pressure groups earlier congratulated Farauta believing that the good track records she possessed earned her the elevation to deputize governor Fintiri.

Describing her as a true mother full of wisdom and compassion, they testified the indelible mark she left in different public sector she served, expressing optimism that she will live same in the political history of Adamawa and beyond.

The groups prayed for her and Governor Fintiri led government to succeed.

Climax of the visit was the presentation of different gifts to the Deputy Governor.
