The Deputy Governor   Professor Kaletapwa Farauta expressed satisfaction over the neatness and well mannered nature of some government owned boarding schools in the state capital.
 

Farauta made this known when she paid an impromptu visit to the Government Girls Secondary School and General Murtala Muhammed College, Yola today.

Supervision as key for desired result has continued to holds meaning to Adamawa State Government under the purposeful leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

In view of that, Professor Farauta was at the two boarding schools for an on the spot assessment aimed at ensuring the students are well taken care of in terms of conducive learning environment, teaching and feeding.

While at the two boarding Schools in company of the Permanent Secretary, State Ministry of Education, Hajiya Aishatu Umar, she was conducted round by the School Principals of GGSS Yola, Faitma Muhammed Gwari and that of GMMC Muhammadu Alhaji Musa.

The officials visited the kitchen to see the quality of food given to students, even as the deputy governor took time to test the meal.

She also visited the hostels at the girls college to assertain the well being of students.

Professor Farauta emphasized on the importance of girl child education, encouraging the management and teachers to be on their toes by coming up with new initiatives towards ensuring the students gets quality education they deserved.

The Deputy Governor said government has invested much on education, hence the call on them  to complement its efforts by thinking out of the box towards ensuring the growth and development of the students, stressing that education is a catalyst for shaping the future of the younger generation.

Having saluted the school authorities for their commitment towards meeting the educational needs and feeding of students, she also call on students to shun bad company and read hard, reminding them that they are the leaders of tomorrow.
 
In show of their appreciation and happiness to the Fintiri's led administration, the staff of Government Girls Secondary School cheered up the Deputy Governor Farauta.
