SUNDAY SERVICE:Deputy Governor Task Christian Faithfuls to Pray for their Leaders.

Christians have been admonished to pray fervently for their leaders and especially for the success of the present administration which is poised towards meeting the yearnings of the citizens.

The Dputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta gave the word of admonishment while on a thank you visit at the LCCN Cathedral Numan, Sunday.

The Sunday service marks the conclusion of the Lutheran Intercessors week, a church sub-group with the primary function of interceding on behalf of the church and its members.

Professor Farauta informed the congregation that the fresh air administration led by the visionary leader Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is aware of their immense contributions, support and prayers towards its victory in the just concluded general elections, hence the government's resolve to return and register their appreciation.

She said despite the good, the bad and ugly events that characterized the 2023 polls especially in Adamawa State, the citizens stood by the government of the day both spiritually and physically to see to its success, reiterating that their labour will never be in vain.

Professor Farauta thereafter, advised the faithful to sustain the spirit of prayers for leaders and the success of the Fintiri led administration as well as the progress, peace and unity of the state and Nigeria in general.

The preacher, Reverend Timothy Yunusa who took Bible reading from Luke chapter five verses one to Eleven, titled his message "Shun anything that can hinder you from going to heaven".

He tasked Christians to hold onto God and work according to His will, warning that anything in the world is vanity.

Reverend Yunusa encouraged the congregation to repent from their sinful nature which will hinder them from inheriting the kingdom of God, rather be good ambassadors of Christ by living true Christian Lives.

Prayers were offered on the Deputy Governor and the fresh air government for God's wisdom, knowledge, understanding, protection and direction as they remain focused at leading Adamawa to its manifest destiny.
