IMMAP VISIT:Adamawa State Government ready to Partnership.

Adamawa State Government has on tuesday, 15th August, 2023 assured of its readiness to partner with Information Management and Mine Action Program IMMAP for proper lnformation Management.

The Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta who is now the Acting Governor of the State, gave the assurance when she hosted officials of IMMAP Nigeria in her office.

Members of Information Management and Mine Action Program purpose for the visit Is to seek partnership with the State, there by, disclosing their development plans for the state.

Professor Farauta  admitted that Information Management is key to decision making and she assured them of government's support at all times.

Her Excellency Farauta, said that the leadership of the Fresh Air Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is always ready to patronize any developmental projects that is of benefits to the State, encouraging them to work with the needs of the people in executing their programmes.

She reminded IMMAP that Adamawa remains a friendly state in all aspects, assuring of continues support to build the capacity of citizens, especially in Information Management.

The Executive Chairman of the State Planning Commission, Dr. Mary Paninga the leader of delegation to the Deputy Governor's office, said that IMMAP has brought numerous interventions through the State Planning Commission. Peninga stressed on  the need to keep on building a stronger partnership for the growth and development of Adamawa State.

On his part, the Country representative of IMMAP, Ari Claascens highlighted the importance of Information Management which according to him cannot be exaggerated, hence their decision is to build the capacity of citizens in that regards.

According to him, their decision to select Adamawa as one of the pilot state is based on the commitment and political will demonstrated by the fresh air governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri towards such developmental projects that has direct bearing on the citizens.
