The Acting Governor of Adamawa State, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has revealed that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's led administration's is commitment to relieving the citizen's current hardship through various government's comprehensive parliative measures to cushion the effects of  the removal of petrol subsidy on residents of the State.

This was made known when she granted audience to members of Adamawa State Association of retired Permanent Secretaries in her office.

Addressing members of the Association led by its Chairman, Mahmud Abubakar Professor Farauta who is now the governor of Adamawa in her acting capacity said, government is aware of the economic challenges which has to do with some federal government's policies, believing that there must be a benefits at the end.

Professor noted that government is troubled with the situations, hence it's commitment to come up with a comprehensive parliative measures to cushion the effect of the policies on its citizens.

She maintained that the state still needs the services of the retired Permanent Secretaries and they might be called upon to contribute when ever their needs arises for a greater Adamawa.

The Acting  Governor tasked them to ignore any form of differences, instead unite and join in the course of actualizing the rebuilding and rebranding the state for good.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and the State Chairman, Association of Retired Permanent Secretaries,  Mahmud Abubakar said, their visit is to identify with the Deputy Governor and to congratulate her on her elevation.

He described her as a passionate leader and a mother they would rely on, even as they made case on some of their demands.

Abubakar used the avenue to thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for appointing some of their members to serve in his cabinet. He assured her of their total supports and contributions for the success of the entire administration.

Abubakar emphasized that even though they are retired,  but they are not tired, and that they are always available if needed to offer any services or contribute for the growth and betterment of the state.
