NEWS: Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information and Strategy Assumes Office.

 Hon. Commissioner of Information Neido Geoffrey Kolfuto in her first official assignment was today officially received by the Permanent Secretary and  staff of the Ministry.

In her speech she thanked the executive Governor Rt. Hon. Umaru Ahmadu Fintiri for finding her worthy to pilot the affairs of the state Ministry of Information and Strategy.

She solicited for the support of the Permanent Secretary Directors of the Ministry, General Managers of the media houses and the entire staff of the Ministry to work in synergy with her so as to deliver on the mandate of the Ministry.

The Hon. Commissioner thanked the Permanent Secretary  and the entire staff for according her a warm welcome and promise to do her best to uplift the image of the State and as well as keeping the people informed on the government policy directives and implementations.

Earlier, while welcoming the Hon. Commissioner, the Permanent Secretary Mr. Solomon Kumangar on behalf of the Directors,  General Managers of the State media houses and Staff of the Ministry of Information and Strategy congratulated the Hon. Commissioner on her well deserved appointment. He assured the Hon. Commissioner of his full support and cooperation and urged all staff to jointly work in synergy with the Commissioner for accomplishments.

The permanent Secretary observed that the Hon. Commissioner must have come full with ideas, energy and passion to accomplish and to deliver on the Governors instruction  that as Ambassadors his Commissioner should serve the people and not betray the trust of the people.
