REUNION:Information Commissioner Hosts Classmates.

The Honourable Commissioner for Information received the Association of Mass Communication Students,  Adamawa State ( Amascos ) today being the 17th of August, 2023. The members of the  Association were at her office to  felicite with their classmate  who is now the new Commissioner for Information and Strategy.

 

The Chairman, AMASCOS Hussein Hammangagdo expressed gratitude and  joy over her appointment. He referred to her appointment as a plus to the Association, being the first pioneer of Mass Communication  Student that  produce a Commissioner.  He called for a minute silent to be observe in respect of some of their mates that are no more, they  were; Mrs Jamila, Cynthia, Libi etc.The Chairman appealed that the Commissioner should consider rendering assistance in  the area  of employment for some of them who are not working at  the moment.

 

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Solomon Kumanga  said seeing the AMASCOS as classmates of the Commissioner got his head boosted and jealous adding that their visit is a timely one and will strengthen her as a Commissioner .

The Honourable  Commissioner, Neido Geoffrey Kufulto expressed her overwhelming  show of love by  the AMASCOSs and promised to look into their plight and that of  the Department of Mass Communication. She promised to forward their requests to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri on the need to train staff of the Media Houses and  Mass Communication students across the state  into mainstream journalism work.
