WORLD YOUTHS DAY: PS, Ministry of Youths and Sports Commended the Fresh Air Governor for Commemoration.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youths and Sports, Muktar Aminu Tukur unveiled the 2023 International Youth Day celebration at his office Tuesday 8th of August, 2023. The unveiling ceremony commenced with a press briefing in which he expressed gratitude to the Fresh Air Governor for the privilege given to the State to partake in this year's celebration of the International Youths Day which was last celebrated in the State in the year 2000 exactly 13 years ago.

 

In the course of the briefing, he  unveiled a week long line of events for the great Youths of the State and prayed for the sustainability. The line up events  includes the following: 

1. Peace Football Match

2. hospital visit to children's ward of Specialist Hospital.

3. Visit to State Orphanage

4. Prayers in the mosques & churches 

5.  followed by a grand finale.

This year's theme for the celebration of 2023 International Youths Day  is;  "Green Skills for Youths Towards a Sustainable World."
