100 DAYS IN OFFICE:Engr. Adamu Atiku Abubakar Congratulates His Excellency, RT. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and His Deputy.

The Commissioner Ministry of Works and Energy Development, Hon. Adamu Atiku Abubakar felicitates with His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and Her Excellency Prof. Kaletapwa G. Farauta (The first female Deputy Governor in not only Adamawa state but also in whole North East zone) on their attainment of 100 days in office.

"Within your 100 days in office, you have intervened in infrastructure developments which includes; Award of Contracts for the construction of Storm Water Drains at Samunaka and along FGGC Yola fence, proposed for the construction of 20.8 Kilometres Adamawa super high way from welcome to Yola-Rumde Kila- Army Barrack Junction in Jimeta and have also proposed for the construction of Flyover at Mubi Roundabout and adjoining streets in Jimeta." Says Honourable Atiku.

How ever, " You have also assisted in reducing the hardships caused by the subsidy removal in different aspects such as payment of Ten Thousand Naira to both Active and Retired Civil Servants for Six Months, the procurement of Ten Luxurious buses, supply of rice and grains to vulnerables and subsidising of fertilisers to Civil Servants in the State."  Atiku added that the Governor has approved Thirty Nine Billion Naira Supplementary Budget in order to  fast track numerous achievements and developments in different MDAs amongst other achievements in Just 100 days in office.
 
Again, "Your Government is indeed aimed at improving living standards of people  through good policies and strategies. Your recent proscription of unregistered private Colleges and Schools that are health related and your recent directive on the relocation of School of Health and Technology to its Permanent site are policies that will improve the standard  of teaming health students in the state." He said.

The Honourable Commissioner concluded that the Governor has constituted a cabinet that would yield positive and sustainable developments in the State.

"I wish you more wisdom, knowledge, determination, courage and good health to continue with the good works in the Days, Months and Years to come."
