DEMOCRACY DIVIDEND:Honourable Commissioner, Chairman House Committee On Commerce, Trade and Industries Tour Facilities at the State Capital.

 Inline with His Excellency the Governor of Adamawa State Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri lead Administration campaign promises, and its efforts towards tackling some issues for Traders Associations and Masses to enjoy the Devidends of Democracy inspection was carried out today.
 
The Hon. Dr. Ishaya John Dabari   Commissioner Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry and Staff together with the Chairman House Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry Barrister Ismail Daware amongst others, went round to inspect the Jimeta Ultra Modern Market and Shopping Complex Environs in the State Capital on 5th August, 2023.

The tour which yielded good results among the parties, encouraging them to be united and work together as a team for the benefits and Development of the State.

The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry Dr. Ishaya John Dabari, shaded more light on the need for the Ministry, House Committee and Traders Associations to come together and figure out what the problems are and how to tackle them properly to enable a conducive trading environment for the citizens.

The delegation was led by Commissioner Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry encouraged traders, securities to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the  market. He said it deem it fit for the Ministry to visit so as to have a first hand Information of the building structures and activities going on in the market, we are not here to witch hunt anyone but to make corrections where necessary.

Dr. Ishaya John Dabari assured them of Government's intervention on some challenges gathered and pleaded with them for maximum cooperation for better Governance.

The Secretary Ultra Modern Market, Mrs Joseline T. Augustine said despite some challenges being faced, the Government has made significant improvement in modernizing and expanding the market which attracted a number of new businesses. She thanked the Government for recently providing them with free internet service in the market to catch up with the digital world and promote e-commerce for ease of doing business.

The Sarkin Kasuwa, who highlighted  some of the major challenges to  the delegation for their consideration also assured them that he will work for the common interest of the people, to see they are represented well in this Fresh Air Administration.

The delegation proceeded to Jimeta Shopping Complex on the same mission to also have some keys Information and make amendment where necessary.
