The Executive Secretary, Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Malam, Abubakar Salihu,  holds a meeting with Schedule Officers from 21 Local Government Areas of the State on how to enhance a successful Hajj Operation at the Conference hall of the Commission.


In an opening remark, the Executive Secretary, commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for giving the Commission a free hand to achieve their targets without hitches.


The Executive Secretary, lauded efforts made by Schedule Officers for ensuring all pilgrims perform their spiritual rites successfully in 2023.


He called on Schedule Officers to intensify efforts in ensuring proper orientation and enlightenment of pilgrims on how to carry out their spiritual rites  is carried out in each local Government.


Malam, Salihu, also, announced that issuance of visa will close 50 days to Hajj, all payments should be done on or before February ending. The Schedule Oficers awere advised to submit pilgrims ppassports on time. Additionally, the pilgrims Boss, emphasised on the need to give priority to first to register, first to serve, give BTA on time to avoid disappointing any intending pilgrim. He further, warned that no pilgrim will exceed 32kg  of luggage.


Malam, Salihu, vowed to secure international  standard accommodation that will meet the desire of pilgrims, provide nutritious meals and transportation services  of their comfort.
He assured  them of the constitution of  vibrant medical team that will make sure no pregnant woman will go for Hajj, people  with psychological problems, the aged and people with serious ailment that will  hinder them to performing  Hajj successfully.


The meeting ended with questions and answers between the duo.
