Adamawa State Planning Commission has organized a two day training for State and local government staff.
The training was centred on Public Expenditure Tracking System Monitoring and Evaluation. It was held at the Commission's Conference Hall, State Secretariat, Yola.
Speaking during the workshop, the Executive Chairman, Adamawa State Planning Commission, Dr. Mary Paninga maintained that Public Tracking System monitoring and Evaluation is a life project in Northern Nigeria.
She therefore encouraged participants to take corrections and move with the technological system.
In his welcome remark, the Permanent Secretary, Adamawa State Planning Commission, Pharmacist Amos Enock Piribu welcome the participants and explained that the workshop is a continues process to rob minds. He urged the participants to be more committed.
Similarly, the Head of Citizen Eyes and Ears, Mr Sidney Esthron Abubakar spoke on some observations in Kobo tool such as balance reporting to improve data quality. Mr Sidney further explained that the title of a project need to be captured as listed in the tool and the target description be clear.
According to him, information on the Kobo tool is very important because they appear on the map above all justification should be clear and simple not technical.
