COURTESY VISIT: Farauta Receives Delegation from National Fiscal Responsibility Commission.

Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has received a delegation from the national Fiscal Responsibility Commission in her office Monday.

The officials from the national fiscal responsibility commission led by Chinemerem Ugoh were on verification exercise to Adamawa. 

The aim of the visit is to verify the utilization of Ten Billion Naira Loan collected from Zenith bank in October, 2015 by the State Government.

Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta while addressing the delegation she said "Adamawa State is known for being prudent that I can assure you and our prudence have been seen in all aspects of our governance especially infrastructures over the years."

Farauta assured the delegation of government committed and support to providing good governance through prudent use of resources, thereby ensuring the citizens feel the dividends of democracy.

According to the leader, Mr Ugoh, the Fiscal Responsibility Commission was set up by the Government to monitor prudent management of government resources to ensure accountability and transparency in public finance management in all federation.
