NEWS UPDATE: Hon. Dabari Urges Committee Members to Effectively Deliver to Achieve Desired Outcome.

Members of the Central Planning Committee for the Participation of Adamawa State at Northeast Joint Domestic Trade Fair has brainstormed on the forth coming event, way forward and it's effective delivery for attaining a  desired outcome.

The rescheduled date for the Northeast Joint Domestic Trade Fair is  26th February to end on 8th March 2024 and will be held in Bauchi State.

The aim of the Joint Domestic Trade Fair is to strengthened the bonds amongst the six states, and to showcase our products to attract Foreign Investors to the North Eastern region.

The meeting was held at the Conference Hall of the Women Development Center on Thursday, and had in attendance the Commissioner Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry Dr. Ishaya John Dabari, who doubles as the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee for the Joint Domestic Trade Fair, Commissioner Ministry of Information and Strategy, Neido Geoffrey Kofulto, Commissioner Ministry of Culture and Tourism Aloysius Baba Doke, Commissioner Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Yayaji Ibrahim Mijiyawa, Commissioner Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development James Iliya, Commissioner Ministry of Agriculture Professor David Finchiwa Jatau amongst others.

The Chairman of the Central Planning Committee Dr. Ishaya John Dabari, noted that the purpose of the meeting was to present the subcommittees and highlighted the terms of reference for effective delivery and time frame for the submission of reports to the secretariat.

Dr. Dabari, applauded the efforts of Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for his unwavering committed and supports towards commercial activities and mordern development to the State at large, Ishaya also appreciated members of the Central Planning Committee for their maximum cooperation.

He urged, the members of the Committee to closeranks so as to achieve the success of the task given to them ahead, noting that the Executive Governor of Adamawa State is keen in seeing that Adamawa State takes its position as the Land of potentials and largest producers of all farm products in the region.

Each Sub-Committees has a Chairman and members to work as a team, the Sub-Committees are as follows: Protocol and Health, Finance and Logistics, Entertainment and Accomodations, Publicity and Contacts, Exhibition and Exhibits and Secretariat.
