NOVELTY MATCH:Governor's Team Vs Brigade Commander's Team.

The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, RT. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has called on Adamawa citizens to appreciate and support the military.

The Governor who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Dr. Amos Sunday Edger made the call during a novelty match organized at the Jimeta temporary stadium Yola ,Adamawa State.

The Governor, explained that the Armed Forces Remembrance  Day is an annual event marked on the fifteen of January to commemorate the nations departed compatriots as well as to honor our living veterans.

In their separate remarks, Brigadier General, P. K Zawaya Commander 23 Armour  Brigade and Head of Service, Adamawa State, Pharmacist Shehu  Isa Ardo applaud the commitment of the Nigerian Army.

They both called on all to support the activities of the military  and to enable them put in their best for the country.

Other events at the occasion includes ; tug of war between the army wives and Ex military men and football match between the Governor's team and the Drigade Commander's team.

The Commissioner, Ministry of Information and Strategy,  Honourable Neido Geoffrey Kofulto, Commissioner Rural Insfrustructure Hon Titus Solomon, Hon Aloysius Baba Doke ,Barrister Wali Yakubu, military  Officers, Permanent Secretaries amongst others also attended the event.
