Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta in company of other government officials inspected newly construction of Cottage Hospital in Demsa, as well as the ongoing construction of MayoBelwa General Hospital.

Deputy Governor, Kaletapwa Farauta while on an inspection visit to the project sites on Tuesday, was taken round to see things for herself.

Farauta lauded the contracting firm handling the construction of Demsa Local Government Cottage Hospital, revealed that the Hospital facilities are on ground as government left no stone unturned.

According to her, the health facility of 120 bed capacity and staff quarters is expected to provide quality and affordable health services to the people of Demsa and beyond.
Earlier, the officials also reechoed the need for timely completion of the ongoing construction of Mayo Belwa general Hospital for the provision of needed health services.

The Deputy Governor stated this while at the permanent site of the general Hospital to assess the success recorded on the ongoing construction of 120 bed capacity of health facility and the way forward.

Farauta having assessed the project, said if completed will serve the inhabitants of Mayo Belwa local Government and environs.

She urged the contracting firm Sampraco Nigeria Limited to ensure timely completion of the health facility, while government remains committed at ensuring needed resources is available for the project to come into reality.

According to Commissioner of Health and Human services, Felix Tangwami the project was abandoned by successive administrations but reinstated by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's  administration.

Engineer Abdulrahman Musa of X-Concrete Consultants Limited, handling ongoing construction of Mayo Belwa General Hospital, highlighted daily hike in prices of construction materials as one of the impediment factor, but he made commitment to complete the project despite all odds.
