The Commissioner for Environment, Honourable Mohammed Abubakar Sadiq, was attacked at his residence in Yola, by hoodlums who carted away with a Hilux Vehicle.

The Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, and some Government Officials visited the victim, who is currently on admission to see how he is recuperating and prayed for his quick recovery.

The Honourable Commissioner Mohammed Sadiq, who was attacked Sunday night and inflicted injuries by the hoodlums, was hospitalised and is now receiving treatment at Meddy Hospital in Yola.

Farauta, also prayed God to forestall future occurrence.

Meanwhile, the State Government also sympathised with the family of late Samuel Gobe Madou the Village head of Imburu, community of Numan Local Government Area, who passed away on Thursday.

The Deputy Governor, alongside member representing Demsa, Numan and Lamurde Federal Constituency Barrister Kwamoti La'ori, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Honourable Neido Geoffrey Kofulto among other Government Officials, while in Imburu, the Deputy Governor, reminded the community that death is a divine call on every mortal, advising them to take solace in God.

Late Samuel Gobe Madou, was born in 1948, died after a brief illness at the age of 75 and has held the traditional stool of Imburu community for 27 years.

Professor Kaletapwa Farauta said late Samuel Gobe Madou has left an indelible mark in the annals of history, describing his demise as colossal to Imburu community, his immediate family, Numan and the entire state, considering his contributions to unity and peace enterprise.

Professor Farauta, encouraged the bereaved family as well as the community to build on the good legacies he left behind and prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest.

While responding on behalf of the community Imialeyo Ronald Bulus thanked the Adamawa State Government for always identifying with them in any situation.
