NEWS: Neido Receives Members of State 2 State on Courtesy Visit

Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mrs Neido Geoffrey Kofulto made it known while receiving the State2State local Government Area Manager, Adamawa State Office Mr. Iheanyi Iheke and Mr. Adetayo Apasa State2State MEL Specialist on a courtesy visit in her office, at the State Secretariat complex on 11th March, 2024.

Mrs Neido, reiterated her support to work in synergy with the State2State to see that Information Officers are been trained and also  been recognized in the various MDA's the officers are been posted.

The Hon. Commissioner added that the Ministry of Information is  trying to link with digitalization and there are plans to have a Ministry of Information media hub where all Information and stories from the Information Officers on government activities can be published. 

Earlier Mrs Nneka Acholonu Egbuna, the Communication Specialist stated the purpose of their visit which are; to discuss on the up coming Intervention by USAID State2State in developing standard operating procedure for Ministry level communication.

She added that the State2State is planning to have a workshop training for Information Officers, in which the officers will work together and provide clear guide lines on how to develop communication Strategy and other Ministerial processes that have to do with internal and external communication.

Mrs Nneka, stated that findings over the pass years shows that  Information Officers posted to other MDA's are not fully recognized professionally.
