Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Keletapwa George Faurata, has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing Water project in Numan Local Government Area.

Deputy Governor Faurata, alongside Commissioner for Water Resources Audu Ayuba Tanko, has on Thursday, inspected  Water project going on in Numan Water Treatment Plant.

Professor Keletapwa George Faurata said the project was due to   Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's, unwavering committed and support towards addressing Water issues in the area. 

She urged people of the area to take ownership of the project pointing out that the project was meant to make citizens enjoy the dividends of Democracy.
The Deputy Governor, Professor Keletapwa said " with what I have seen today, I am very satisfied with the Water project, because it is at a very good stage of completion and I am rest assured at the end of this project, issue of Water challenge will be bygone in Numan Local Government Area.

According to Farauta, Numan has been having challenges of portable drinking Water and expressed optimism that people of Numan Council Area and it's environs will benefits from the Water Project.

Speaking to journalists after the inspection of the project, Commissioner in the Ministry for Water Resources, Honourable Ayuba Audu, rated the project at 80 percent completion adding that the Water project to be completed soon.

He appreciated the effort of the State Government for timely completion of the project while also adhering to contractual terms, and specifications.

In a remark, Engr Reuben Murey explained that when the Water project is completed, it will be connected to the General Hospital as well Numan Metropolitan.
