PARTNERSHIP: State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development to Partner NOA.

The State Director of National Orientation Agency NOA, Mr Richard Bala Dangari and his management paid a courtesy visit on the Honourable Commissioner for Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Wunfe B Anthony in her office today, 7th May, 2024.

During the meeting, Mr.  Richard Bala congratulated the Honourable Commissioner for her appointment and called for collaboration with the Ministry as the primary role of the agency is  to communicate government's policies towards promoting patriotism and development in the state. 

He stated that NOA serves as intermediary between the government and the people. With equipped staff across the state and local Governments, NOA can support the Ministry in carrrying out awareness and campaigns against  out of school children, rape and drug abuse. 

In her response, the Honourable Commissioner acknowledged their coming as timely and assured that  their support is key in carrying out the activities of the Ministry and well-being of Women, children and disabled in the state. 

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Hajiya Zainab Umar Adamu in her remarks also acknowledged the visit of NOA management and looked forward to working closely  to achieve desired objectives.
