The Ministry of Works and Energy Development under the leadership of Hon. Adamu Atiku Abubakar has again provided much needed relief to the community of Samunaka by constructing a storm water drains from Samunaka to FGGC fence as instructed by His Excellency RT Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
The stormwater drains project has totally addressed the longstanding issues related to flooding and water management in the community and FGGC fence as well.
This project encompasses a comprehensive approach to modernizing and expanding the existing stormwater drainage system to mitigate the adverse effects of heavy rainfall and improve the overall resilience of the community to natural disasters.
One of the primary motivations behind this initiative is the recognition of the recurrent flooding events that have plagued Samunaka and surrounding areas, causing damage to property, disrupting livelihoods, and posing risks to public health and safety.
By this development of robust stormwater drainage infrastructure and many others in the state, it is obvious that Governor Fintiri's administration seeks to safeguard the well-being and prosperity of residents while fostering sustainable urban development.
