NEWS: Nigeria Korea Model School Yola operates functional SBMC

This was revealed by the Director Social Mobilization Hajiya Fadimatu Alfa during a brief chat at her office on the 26th of October 2015. She said, the formation of SBMC is truly a well come development and that she will ensure the continuity of the  programme in all the primary schools and Junior Secondary schools  in the state.
In her strive to ensure the continuity of the programme, she has made the grassroots her most targeted areas. However, her next line of duty to achieve this is by organising a radio programmes to meet her targets.
The SBMC of the said school performed the following responsibilities :
• Repaired the school’s stand by generator,
• Built an incinerator for refuse collection,
• Repaired the pupil’s desk,
• Made demarcations for school houses with sign post.
Other challenges of the School according to Hajiya Fadimatu includes the following :
• A science laboratory,
• Equip Computer Complex,
• Additional VIP toilets,
• Inadequate Library Books,
• More classrooms to accommodate more intakes,
• A Clinic or a dispensary,
• A cinema or a hall for example learning.
The SBMC of the school is how ever calling on any Ngo or a volunteer to come and invest in the lives of tomorrow’s leaders.
