The Adamawa State Government has expressed its willingness to partner with a Private Firm SIF-GATE Nigeria Limited for the creation of Web site for the state Government.
Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla who stated this during a presentation on Information Technology and its benefits held at the Council Chambers of the Government House Yola.
The Governor appreciate the efforts of the State Ministry of Information and urged those involved in the project to do more so that the state would catch up with the latest Global Technology, especially in the areas of Information and Communication Technology. "World is now a Global Village and Adamawa State should not be left-out" he said.
While making his presentation, on the proposed Web site, the Chief Executive Officer of the SIF GATE Nigeria limited Mr. Sunny Oyakhilome said the Website will feature all the units of government, including abandoned natural and human resources as well as places of interest such as Tourism.
In his contribution, the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information Comrade Ahmad Ibrahim Sajoh highlighted the benefits of the project to the state. "The Web site will showcase the abandoned Human and Natural Resources, attract potential investors, and reduce over dependent on Government" he concluded
