NEWS: Governor’s Wife Celebrates New Year 2016 With The Pysically Challenged.

Her Excellency   Hajiya  Maryam  Muhammad Umar Jibirilla  Organised  a  luncheon  party  to the  physically challenged  persons,Orphans and the  less privileged  at Banquet hall, Government house yola.

   In her speech, Hajiya  Maryam  thanked  Allah for making us witness another year, she  said that “It  is indeed in the  spirit of our collective desire to carry everybody  along  irrespective  of status,that I deemed it necessary to  organise this party  so that it can usher us Into the new year 2016, a year  of prosperity  in sha Allah”. She urged  the people to  inculcate  in the minds of their younger ones the moral and ethical core, so as to portray us as  responsible  and  peaceful  people.

  In his  remarks, the Hon.Commissioner  Ministry  of women  Affairs,Social  Development and Integration Alhaji  Aliyu  Bello Tola  appreciates her  Excellency  for deeming it  worthy  to host these classes of  people  which is a departure from  the  past  where only children of well to do in the society are hosted during this event. He thanked  Allah for making us witness the  change mantra  and thanked  his Excellency  Sen. Muhammad Umar Jibirilla  for fecilitating  the  event  and his continuous  support  to the  people of  the  state.

Responding on behalf of the physically challenged persons Mallam Abubakar Hosere thanked her Excellency for celebrating the new year with them he further appealed to the present government to continue to support them.

Hajiya  Maryam  presents food items, Toiletteries,Slippers, Cooking  Oil, Milk, and MAMA KIT to   the  physically  challenged persons,Orphans and the less privileged.

Those  who  attended  the  Party  are; Wife Of Dep.Governor, Wife Of Speaker State House Of Assembly, Wife Of Head of service, wife of  Chief of  staff,  permanent secretaries  APC woman leader and Staff from  ministry of women Affairs.
