The FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has yesterday received the visiting First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan, Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon, at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.

The Minister who was assisted at the occasion by Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, Hajiya Khadija Bukar-Ibrahim welcomed the Vice President to the City.

Malam Bello intimated Dr. Teny-Dhurgon that Abuja is a melting point for Nigerians and a symbol of National Unity of the country.

The Minister enjoined the Vice President to feel very free in the city; reiterating that Abuja remains a hub for Africa renaissance.

He noted the brotherly and a cordial relationship between the people of Nigeria and South Sudan.

Responding, the South Sudan First Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon, appreciated the warm reception accorded him and his entourage.

The visiting First Vice President is expected to meet President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.
